This route was planned by komoot.
Great circuit, however be careful on the gravel part (KM 23.5) the path is rutted and the descent is steep, caution is required to avoid falling into the ditch. Otherwise, don't forget to check the wind because going up the Seine with a headwind can be difficult.
Today we killed two birds with one stone. On the one hand the capital and second largest city of Normandy - Rouen - visited and before and after completed two stages of the cycle path along the Seine. However, the highly praised "Seine-à-Vélo" cycle path does not deliver what I had promised, at least here. The start in the beautiful village of "La Bouille", where you take the ferry to the other side, and the first 10 km were still ok, but the rest of the way to Rouen is very industrial and therefore not really nice. After Rouen, the path then leads largely across the country, which I wouldn't necessarily expect on a river bike tour. However, the cycle paths are really well developed and very easy to drive. I found it amusing a roundabout in the middle of the forest where 8(!) hiking and cycling paths meet in a star shape. Here you almost felt like at the Arc de Triomphe in Paris 😊. Something like that only exists in France.
