Trail Reviews

Frank Steinmeyer
June 20, 2025, TdF 2025 - Étape 04 - Abbeville - Amiens

Our fourth stage today takes us 58 kilometers from the cathedral in Abbeville to the cathedral in Amiens. The green ribbon of the Somme, with its canals and countless marshlands, accompanies us along well-maintained cycle paths for almost the entire route – punctuated by charming villages, beautiful castles and manor houses, the ruins of medieval fortresses, and the occasional leisure boat idly cruising through the green waters. Today's tour is like a bike ride through bucolic landscapes, a meditative ride through magical summer worlds.

Very nice walk, very clean and very rolling paths. No difficulty. What fun 😉

Great cycling weekend. Really very good facilities, great landscapes. The heat has punctured us, unfortunately there is not too much shade. This allowed us a few small swims in the river.
