What a hike! Perfect weather and a magnificent view of Zuheros and the olive groves as we ascend. Shortly after the ascent we had our first unexpected encounter - ibexes and chamois watched us as we ascended! We continued through magical nature at an altitude of over 1,000m and after the first spring a herd of around 30 wild boars suddenly crossed our path😬 The path led over a plateau with great views and suddenly, at the old ruins, there it was, a real Iberian pig👌😘 all alone. Then we took a break opposite the old ruins and witnessed a natural spectacle: around 30-35 bearded vultures gathered on a rock, circling in wide circles and gathering on the rock (in the photo on the right). INSANE!! WE ARE EXCITED😍 The descent to Zuheros reveals some great views of the small town and the beautiful landscape. At the Castillo Zuheros we have a hiking beer and take in the fantastic day.
