Monte Baldo | "Villages, mountain huts and views of Garda from Caprino to Malga Zocchi" MTB ring Caprino - Pesina - Pazzon - Malga Ime, Valfredda, Zocchi - Caprino Another very beautiful route on the eastern side of Monte Baldo, suitable for MTB/Gravel up to Malga Zocchi, and then definitely for MTB in the long descent on a mountain path. For Gravel, we recommend returning from 2 Pozze, Prada, Lumini. The first part climbs the slopes of Monte Baldo, touching old villages, small churches, wash houses and waterways. A journey into the history of medium and high mountain farmers, until reaching the beautiful Malga Ime, where it is worth stopping. From here, continue uphill to Malga Falfredda, where the return begins looking down the valley, with wide views of the Veneto mountains to the east, the Po Valley and the south of Garda. As you continue, Garda becomes more and more present, until you have a great view that includes the entire middle and lower lake. Stupendous. The mountain huts are beautiful. From Malga Zocchi, if you are on Gravel, it is better to continue on dirt towards 2 Pozze, and from there go down on asphalt to Lumini (worth seeing) and Caprino, while for MTB the fun but difficult part begins. The route immediately enters the woods and alternates between narrow mule tracks and steep, very stony paths, often wet. In some sections there are large boulders, and we recommend getting off the saddle if you are not well trained for this. You are always in the woods until the end, where you take the last stretch of asphalt road that leads from Lumini to Caprino. Happy pedaling.
what a brave guys. very panoramic. all ENDURO from the top to the trunk of the car. few know it, a must do, so much satisfaction
Beautiful ride with a pleasant climb (I have an e-bike) and fantastic views. The descents are very fun, beautiful and technical, but never difficult.
Nice tour, where the initial part is the usual one that goes from Caprino towards the upper slopes of Baldo and then begins a very technical but beautiful descent in the woods all on dirt.
endless descents all connected. take away water that cannot be found
