This route was planned by komoot.
Today, however, is truly the last round in Italy. After researching on Komoot, we decided on a tour along the Po and Adda, also a river. No elevation gain, so we turned off the engine. The surface varied from asphalt and coarse and fine gravel to rutted meadow paths with puddles so large you could only walk right through them. It's not as colorful here as on Elba. More of a gray-brown, matching the murky, dirty waters of the Po. Lots of hares and deer out and about in the meadows. Everything's packed up now. We're heading home tomorrow morning.
