This Route goes into the interior of the region, and gains altitude to contemplate Garraf from the privileged viewpoint of Puig de l'Aliga. It starts from Sant Pere de Ribes and proceeds along the area's slopes to the Parc d'Olèrdola, border with the neighboring region of l'Alt Penedès. The castle of Sant Miquel d'Olèrdola and its museum is another of the attractions of the Route, which returns to Sant Pere de Ribes after taking you to another exceptional viewpoint, in the so-called Fita dels Tres Termes.
After leaving Sant Pere de Ribes you take the road that leads to Olivella for just over four kilometers. After turning left through the Mas Mestre urbanization, you immediately enter the slopes that, in a gentle ascent, take you to the Parc d'Olèrdola. These tracks are in good condition but in some sections you find stones; Be careful especially on the descents. The small and picturesque town of Viladellops awaits you. There you find a bar and also the wineries of the same name, as well as a small hermitage and a Romanesque tower.
Your next destination is the Olèrdola castle, a monumental complex that includes Roman ruins and a 10th century church. Here the climbs begin to be considerable, although short, first on a track and the last few meters along the access road to the castle. And you still have to climb further to reach Puig de l'Aliga, the border between Garraf and Alt Penedès, from where you can see the coast and also the interior plain. After enjoying these magnificent views you continue towards the south. Be careful here with some downhill sections where the slope and stones require caution.
Once again you face the sea, entering a peculiar paved path that runs along various ridges until you reach the foot of the nearby hills of Vilanova i la Geltrú. The last section of the Route takes you back to Sant Pere de Ribes through a peri-urban area between crop fields and industrial areas. Finally, you arrive at Sant Pere along a narrow path that leaves you right at its picturesque castle.
