This route was planned by komoot.
After a poor sleep in a room that was like sleeping in a sauna, I had a slower start and ended up changing my route to go further south to avoid the rain and storms that were forecast for the main Dolomite mountains. I continued along the Etsch river on the nice cycling path but with 38° and no shade plus a headwind that felt like a hairdryer it was a bit of a struggle. I stopped for a proper lunch before heading up the climb from Trento which wasn‘t too long but had some steeper sections. After a short descent I followed the plateau with some nice mountain views until reaching the pretty Lago di Caldonazzo for a coffee stop and then on for a Sundowner at the Lago di Levico near my accommodation.
