If you like remote paths with extremely technical challenges, this round is just right for you. A unique adventure awaits you in White Tank Mountain Regional Park. The trails are lonely, wild and pristine. The ideal terrain for experienced mountain bikers who feel at home on tricky trails.
It starts at the White Tank Campground, where there are also numerous parking spaces nearby. First you take the Mesquite Canyon Trail under your tires. This magnificent path winds steeply in a series of curves up to a saddle. This section is really nice and easy to drive on.
As soon as you hit Willow Canyon, the fun begins on the Goat Camp Trail. On the first section, the narrow path continues uphill through a picturesque landscape. There are always breathtaking views to the east along the way and sometimes you can even catch a glimpse of Phoenix.
After climbing the final peak, the Goat Camp Trail winds steeply downhill through a gorge. This downhill really has it all: it is technically demanding and will keep you on your toes. Comfortable rolling down is not an option here. On the contrary, you slowly circle yourself and your bike through narrow bends, over angular stones and boulders lying across. You are always on the edge. So special caution is required!
Anyone who loves this type of path and masters the obstacles with flying colors will arrive at the bottom with a big grin and won't forget the round in a hurry, we promise!
