This route was planned by komoot.
Compared to the full I took exactly 10 minutes less, a non-abysmal difference on about 4 hours of lap. It should be noted that I was not really in shape due to a cold and on the descent I did some sections with the bike at my side due to the presence of loose stones. A real shame because the route deserves and it would take very little to clean the hairpin bends from the stones and allow bikers to descend safely. All in all, I thought I would suffer more downhill, since I have not yet mounted the telescopic.
Beautiful ride in Valsesia. Despite the state of the Sesia, almost a trickle in this spring of 2023. Departure from Scopello from the car park and then go up for about ten KM essentially on asphalt up to Alpe di Mera. Along the route, traces of snow force you to accompany your bike. Wonderful view even on a day with very changeable weather. From here another climb and then a dirt path without any particular problems. Finally, a series of hairpin bends downhill on a very stony surface with a very steep slope. Arrival in Ressa via single track with some steps that can be tackled without problems and finally return to Scopello on the provincial road. 46%, 8
