This route was planned by komoot.
beautiful Nettetal with a wonderful lake landscape and a lot of nature👌 .. PS: I didn't take photo 13 with Macro 🤭😄
Today we were heading towards the Netherlands in the Schwalm-Nette region, a beautiful area with great hiking trails. The Mill Trail is pretty and very easy, but unfortunately, you have to walk alongside a main road for the last kilometer back to the parking lot. There were a few mushrooms to find along the trail. Despite the constant rain, it was a nice walk. And afterward, we briefly visited the two brothers in Venlo.
Very nice round, but partly very asphalt-heavy. The way back was supposed to go along the main road, so we took a detour to De Wittsee, where the sun even came out again 🥰
Unfortunately, I only noticed too late that Komoot wasn't recording. The starting point was at the Leuther Mill.
A very nice tour in such wonderful weather. I reversed the direction suggested by Komoot so that I wouldn't ruin the good impression by having to walk a kilometer and a half along the country road. For me, it was the right decision.
With the "Leichte.Wander.Welt" project, ten easy, barrier-free hiking trails were created in the Schwalm-Nette Nature Park (in addition to the premium hiking trails under the "Wasser.Wander.Welt" label), true to the motto "Hiking for everyone". This also means that the trails must have a minimum width, for example, and the proportion of asphalt is increasing. I didn't really like the route of this tour, so I ended up making a (worthwhile!) detour away from the noisy Hinsbecker Strasse. Here is the link to all 10 routes: https://www.wa-wa-we.eu/de/leichte-wander-welt.html You can also find more beautiful tours in the area in my small collection: https://www.komoot.com/de-de/collection/1674716/-wasserwanderwelt
Today started in the best autumn weather at the information center Krickenbecker Seen and followed the blue markings. The route is very well signposted and the landscape is very varied. We had a lot of fun.
This morning I drove the car to Leuthermeulen, where you can park for free. Take a walk there. It was wonderfully quiet. You heard different types of birds chirping. Enjoyed it 🌿 🐦 💚
