Part 2. Continuation of part 1: "From Crozon to cap de la chévre" Last part of the mobile is empty unfortunately, it is a straight line (back via 'Le Fret' then over the dike.! From parking maison du Tourisme to finistiere
A pretty round that is unfortunately characterized by numerous wartime bunkers to secure the Straits of Brest. When visibility is clear, there are also nicer, and above all better, views.
Bike tour from the campsite in Camaret sur mer to the Pointe des Espagnols. Always following the coast on the D355 on the western side up north to Pointe des Espagnols and again south on the eastern coastline. Unfortunately, there are no bike paths there, so you are always on the normal road. With an e-bike, the climbs are no problem either. On the entire route you have fantastic views of the coast and the beaches. From the Pointe des Espagnols a great view of the city of Brest, the port, lighthouse, submarine bunker and the Rade von Brest. With a little luck you can also see the ship traffic.
Took a short bike ride through the Crozon peninsula.
This beautiful bike tour was very varied and led up and down on small streets with mostly great surfaces. That was pure pleasure. At the northern cape we had a nice view of Brest. The second part of the tour was even more spectacular than the first. After a lunch break in Camaret-sur-Mer, we passed a field with 143 quartz menhirs - only a sparse remnant of a once huge megalithic field in which more than 200 years ago more than 200 stones stood upright, their alignment possibly with the constellation of the Pleiades. I found the atmosphere there very mystical, Thomas couldn't confirm that. Men sometimes lack the sixth or seventh sense 😇... But the absolute highlight was the "Pointe de Penhir". Here we walked over the 70 m high cliff made of light granite and enjoyed the ever new spectacular views. Our stay on the Crozon peninsula could not have ended any better 💃. Refreshment tip: Restaurant "L'Annexe" in the port of Camaret-sur-Mer: We have eaten here twice in the last few days and were more than enthusiastic each time. There is only a small menu and all the dishes we ate there were just great 👌. Today we dared to try oysters for the first time in many years and were pleasantly surprised. https://g.co/kgs/QG6jmg
