This route was planned by komoot.
Another cracking walk. Two typically lovely Cotswold villages, two ancient churches and open countryside. Oh, and Sezincote House. I got this route from Komoot and stuck to it faithfully for a change. Apart from the bit where I took the wrong turning. Several fields full of cows, calves and bulls on this walk. However, the farmers/land owners have created alternative public footpaths running parallel to the original so that you don't have to enter any of the fields to follow the route. Having said that I wasn't convinced that a single strand electric fence would have prevented them from charging me (no pun intended) if they wanted to - especially the bulls. And they did 'charge' - well galloped (do cows gallop?) towards me. Not sure whether they thought I was the farmer coming to lead them in or they were being protective of their calves and were trying to warn me off. Added a little nervous excitement to the walk. A great walk nonetheless on a fine, sunny summers evening.
