Most of the route is off-road however, this are a couple of areas where you have to walk on a main road for a shot distance. When you get down to the beach there is a lovely Beach Cafe that serves food, drinks and snacks. The route back takes you past St Catherine's Chapel. Built in the 14c and is dedicated to St. Catherine of Alexandria. At the end of your walk, walk down towards the tithe barn and finish off with drinks and/or food at the Cherries Abbey Farm cafe. You can extend this walk to also take in Abbotsbury Swannery.
