The ports of Malagón, de la Paradilla and de la Cruz Verde are historic steps in the Madrid mountains between the royal gardens of the Monastery of El Escorial and its beautiful forests of La Herrería and the monumental city of Ávila. The track goes up to the port of Malagón through the popular 15 revueltas del Escorial, a mythical place for the first generation of mountain bikers who practically learned to ride a fat-wheeled bicycle in these mountains.
