Hiking
You can be sure of a spectacular 360-degree panorama on this circular hike. From the summit of Säntis you have a view of no less than six countries: Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein, Italy and France. No wonder, as it is the highest mountain in the Alpstein and the Lake Constance region. But the Säntis has even more to offer: an interactive adventure world and two restaurants welcome you to the summit.
You start your hike at the foot of the Säntis at the valley station of the Säntis suspension railway and the Schwagalp at an altitude of 1,350 meters. Now you could be comfortably transported to the summit of the Säntis (2,502 meters high). However, the climb described in the tour is more fun.
You can warm up a little on the small street that you initially follow. The route continues steeply and secured by steel cables to the Musfalle rock bastion. You alternately walk over grass and scree up to your elbows before you can take a well-deserved break at the Tierwis mountain inn. Now it's time to mobilize your calf fat again and climb the next few meters to the top of the mountain. The last section to reach the summit runs over the Himmelsleiter, an almost vertical rock ladder. Breathtaking...
The descent takes place on the challenging alpine hiking trail “Nostrils Route”. The tour is suitable for experienced mountain hikers who are in good physical condition, have a head for heights and are sure-footed.

To be honest, after yesterday's really brilliantly beautiful tour on the Schesaplana, I didn't want to go out at first... the next tour can almost just be "abandoned"... but no, things …
