Magnificent oak with an asymmetrical silhouette whose circumference approaches 10 meters at its base. On the road to Santiago de Compostela, he undoubtedly saw many pilgrims resting at his foot.
It has been labeled 'Remarkable Tree of France' since 2013.

Markings between walking and car 🤣 13 km route. It's not my favorite. There are 1 or 2 viewpoints and the remarkable oak where there is no information. Most of the circuit is on asphalt including on the Loire à vélo which is a cycle path. BE CAREFUL NOT TO TAKE UP ALL THE SPACE. The part along the canal can be dangerous because it may be maintained. The paths run along fields and orchards, it is very muddy sometimes.
