Climbing Mount Serantes offers magnificent views of the Abra, the port of Bilbao, the estuary, and the entire urban area of Bilbao and its surroundings. We'll see, among others, Las Arenas, Algorta, Portugalete, Santurce, and Sestao. Along the way, we'll also find the remains of various military buildings, including the El Mazo powder magazine, the Serantes fort, and the Serantes Tower.
