This route was planned by komoot.
This time without family; they were busy sunbathing and knitting ;)
Our last day. Something positive after yesterday's misery. Then it turned out that our two indispensable folding bicycles had been stolen, now we are completely devastated on the GR12 (and all walks), we report it to the police and make plans, we go home on Wednesday. We consider ourselves lucky that we are at a beautiful campsite close to a very large lake. We decide to walk around the lake, and it turns out to be surprisingly beautiful. We can also see the marking, a small piece of GR 12, but that does not count for now, it will be repeated in full later. We enjoy that we can end these days this way and have a beer and a (too sour) Sangria at the end of the walk. Then quickly go to the camper because it is getting dark and there will be a lot of rain and thunder. Pfffff, arrived just in time. We are trying to put yesterday's events behind us, after finally speaking to Interpolis on the phone this morning, and remain positive about our walking skills, although Interpolis indicates that a bicycle is a "valuable asset" and that you should actually keep those possessions. should carry with you. Strange rule of course, and we laugh about buying straps and tying the bike together on the back on top of the backpack 😅. Decision...We will soon purchase new bicycles and in the future we will be free to ring the doorbells of people with our story and ask if we can leave the bicycles behind their house for a day. We hope for understanding fellow human beings.
Very pleasant tour around the lake, different wooded landscapes. Attention, muddy in rainy weather provide walking boots
