Classic tour around Mont Aiguille. If you start (or are) in Trézanne in the morning, you have an imposing view of the east pillar of Mont Aiguille (which shines beautifully in the morning sun) and the task in front of you. (Small parking lot at the chapel.) The hike is technically easy and often on wide (forest roads). The ascent to the Col de l'Aupet is steep uphill. The descent leads through the forest for a long time, in which, however, there are some quite muddy passages to be mastered, especially in the upper part. In sloping terrain, this requires a bit of caution, but cannot be avoided and they are not really tricky. However, sturdy shoes are recommended. (The sneaker faction certainly enjoyed the modder pouring into the shoe 😊). On the way back from km 16 there are again beautiful views to the north-east. The Barre des Écrins can be seen and also the L’Olan in Valgaudemar (but this is a different tour ...). The tour was started in mid-June 2021.
