Trail Reviews

Stadt Winnenden
July 12, 2021, Winnender Weinwanderweg 1

Enjoy Winnender wine - on the vineyard and in the glass! A thoroughly culinary experience awaits you on the Winnender wine hiking trail, in the middle of vineyards and forest. From the starting point, this beautiful, panoramic hiking trail, peppered with numerous refreshment stops, takes you back to the historic old town, which is well worth seeing, via Hanweiler, the Haselstein and the Kleiner Rossberg.

Today we walked almost exclusively in the rain, but it was still beautiful. There are only a few pictures, though.

Today we went to the vineyards on the Winnenden wine hiking trail 1. Just the right thing for this weather, up there you could bear it well with cloudy skies and a bit of wind. The start and end is at the train station, so you have to walk a bit through the town, but the rest of the trail is really great, I can only recommend it. Unfortunately I couldn't buy any wine, I was just there at the wrong time. Be sure to take the Kleiner Rossberg, there you have a great view and a bit of peace. I'll also do the wine hiking trail 2, maybe in the fall.

The Winnender Weinwanderweg 1 is a beautiful tour that you can also do when the weather is not that great. At point 3 we made a small detour because the actual trail was pretty muddy due to tree felling.
