View of the Aiguille de Belval

Highlight • Viewpoint

For a scenic yet challenging trail running experience, you can admire the view of the Aiguille de Belval, a 40-metre-high rock that juts out from the Normandy coast. The Aiguille de Belval is the most elegant rock on the Côte d'Albâtre and its balance seems to be a challenge, given its height of almost 70 meters. You can admire this natural wonder from the Valleuse du Curé trail, which leads you to the coastal path near Roc Vaudieu. Be prepared for steep ascents and descents, as well as slippery passages on the cliffs. It's a trail running adventure you won't forget!

Porte d'Amont Chalk Arch, Étretat

Highlight • Natural Monument

An exciting path leads from the top down stairs and then through the tunnel to Étretat beach. An aluminum ladder leads from the tunnel to the pebble beach. Remains of an older iron ladder can be seen. The route from above to the tunnel alone is recommended. You can also get all the way down using the stairs without using the tunnel. Then stop on the side of the ledge facing away from the city.
This is a rare opportunity to see the cliffs from above and below. The 350 steps are worth it!
Otherwise, see Wikipedia for the Porte d’Amont.
