This round is all about the Tannheimer Tal. You circle the picturesque high valley in 53 kilometers. Some steep climbs will make you sweat along the way. The Tannheimer Tal is made for gravel biking, because most of the round you are on gravel, far away from the traffic noise and hustle and bustle of the big roads.
You start the tour in Schattwald and first drive east on the southern side of the valley. Right at the beginning it goes up a few meters and you will find some romantic mountain lakes here if you want to cool off on the way. Continue via Tannheim and Nesselwängle to Rauth, where you make your way back on the north side of the valley. You always have the beautiful Tannheim mountains in view while you are on the high trail over Tannheim. Soon you will reach Schattwald again and have circled the entire Tannheimer Tal.
Schattwald is connected to the train station in Reutte by bus. Bicycles are allowed on the bus. If you are arriving by car, you can use a paid parking lot on site.
