This route was planned by komoot.
Very nice excursion, suitable for those who are somewhat trained.
Fantastic day...I tried using Komot again and miraculously the cell did not run out of battery. Starting from Ripa the path is immediately uphill and continues like this until the first lake. The blue sky, the mountains, the autumn colors and the frozen lake gave beautiful emotions. We continued and admired the other three lakes and hungry we arrived at the Rodigari Refuge. The coolness was increased by the arrival of the helicopter that made several trips to bring materials for improvements to the refuge. We returned from the other path to the first lake that we had encountered going up, passing through a forest with a folliage of beautiful colors. Tired but satisfied we arrived at the cars parked at the small church. As always great company and good laughs. See you next time.🥰
Hello all hiking friends... today we hiked to the Cardeto lakes from Gromo. Unfortunately, the only downside was very low clouds and bad weather (little rain). This is why two of the three lakes are invisible; only the first lake is in the 📷 section. Easy trail with excellent elevation gain, to be repeated in good weather.
Today was a nice trip to Cardeto in the winter version😍 we started with a nice cool temperature (-7⁰) but then the beloved Sun helped to warm our hearts. Once you put on your crampons just outside the woods, if it's done quickly I highly recommend bringing snowshoes because from the first lake onwards we opened the road with quite a bit of difficulty. However, Cardeto is always spectacular for its beautiful views❤️❤️
A wonderful tour in the Alpi Orobi, more precisely in the Valle Seriana. Perfect weather and for once perfectly signposted, which is rather rare here. From the Portula pass you can see the next valley, the Valle Brembana. There, San Pelligrino is known to everyone for the table water
Always made starting from Ripa di Gromo but I must say that from Valgoglio it was a pleasant surprise. Due to the fact that in doing so the path that winds through a beautiful forest comes out after that steep climb starting from Ripa.... absolutely worth trying😉😉
Excursion that at the right moments, I find very beautiful and scenic. I have long wanted to go back to winter with snow, but honestly, this time, with the fresh snow making the whole landscape flat, I was slightly disappointed. Up to a few meters from the lake the climate was excessively hot (shirt sleeves) and in a few minutes I passed from late spring to freezing winter with sleet (sweatshirt and jacket). If anyone is interested, I can say that the path that leads to Passo della Portula is free or, in any case, beaten. On the contrary, the one that goes around the lakes is full of fresh snow. In some places, the snow is heavy because it is wet and tends to slip, probably on the icy one below. Equipped and not solitary, you can risk it, but is it worth it, given that the lakes are barely visible? Last consideration is the path to get to the lakes. For me it was the first time I went up from the Ripa. Definitely easier than the vertical wall that rises from Gromo S. Marino, but honestly, I struggle to decide which one to prefer...
