A walk in Grevelingen (Fr) with friends. We have done them before but it is so beautiful that we wanted to show them this region. Grevelingen is located on the opal coast and on the river Aa that flows into the North Sea. It is a region with a lot of history and since 1658 it became a fortified garrison town. Vauban designed the fortification. It is a fortified town with city gates, ramparts, ravelin and an arsenal. We walk on the ramparts, citadel, along the path of the moat and through the Arsenal gardens.
