This Tour of approximately 4.5 kilometers, with an elevation gain of 230 meters around Monte Tuoro, takes you through breathtaking panoramas. Today, the protagonists are the Faraglione of Capri…
Your adventure begins at the Piazzetta di Capri, the vibrant heart of the island. You first head to the Certosa di San Giacomo, a former monastery of Carthusian monks that now houses a museum dedicated to the German painter Karl Wilhelm Diefenbach.
You then go around the majestic Monte Tuoro via via Tragara, a road lined with magnificent viewpoints. From here, the Faraglioni, Capri's signature rock formations, rise proudly out of the azure sea before you.
This hike takes you further to Villa Malaparte, a modernist architectural masterpiece that overlooks the sparkling waters of the Mediterranean. After a few minutes of walking, don't miss the opportunity to make a round trip to discover the Arco Naturale, an unusual rock formation of Paleolithic age.
Via Sopramonte eventually brings you back to the Piazzetta di Capri, where you can treat yourself to a vere as a reward.

Wonderful roundtrip from Capri to Natural Arch and several other viewpoints along the way. Better go clockwise as there are many steps upwards otherwise. There is a restaurant where you can just get a drink at Natural Arch. the path is all paved. There is sufficient shade, especially in the afternoon.
Circular hike on the east side of the island with wonderful views far away from the tourist crowds.
