Tishomingo State Park is a recreational area in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in Tishomingo County, approximately 45 miles northeast of Tupelo, Mississippi. The Chickasaw Indians once lived in the caves between these rocks. Some areas are very steep and slippery. We were lucky and saw a few turtles at Bear Creek.
