Cock Howe Standing Stone

Highlight • Natural Monument

There is a round 15m barrow here on top, one of many such barrows in the Hambleton Hills. Beautiful views here over Bilsdale.

Green Howe Standing Stone

Highlight • Natural Monument

Superb moorland views from up here. Another round barrow is here; one of many in the Hambleton Hills. There used to be a ditch here up to 3 m wide surrounding the mound, but that is no longer visible.

A truly unusual structure in Snilesworth Moor here! There are stones put around the boundary stone (in the middle) and somebody has added a branch... apparently no one really knows why!

Arnsgill Ridge

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

A very varied stretch across Arnsgill Ridge - small grassy path, wide track and wild moorland, and you will see the Bilsdale Transmitter mast in the distance all the time.
