Get out, get out, get out! Very nice, varied tour, a little more asphalt, but after all the rain in the last few days, it was just right!
Unfortunately the tour started too late. About 1.5 km are missing.
We started this tour at the Splash-Bad in Kürten, which I have fond memories of! Years ago I went in and out regularly with my then younger children! I was a bit shocked how run down it looks today ... The Mühlenweg is a varied round tour from the "Bergische Streifzügen"! It leads to some historic mills around Kürten that are well worth seeing! The view that you can enjoy in some places is also great. It goes through forests and fields, past streams and through beautiful little villages! There are several restaurants to stop off at, which look very inviting ... I only find the asphalt content a bit high, otherwise I find a really successful round!

Today I hiked the Mühlenweg #7 from Kürten with @Claudia, @Diana, @Heike, and @Gaby Born Gaby. Perfect hiking weather, a great trail, and then a stop for a delicious meal 🥗🧆...what more could you want? Thanks to Claudia for organizing the hike.
Snow and sunshine are perfect for a hike in the Bergisches Land region. Since we want to hike a few more of the Bergisches Land trails this year, we chose Bergisches Land Trail 7 today, which is easily accessible when there's enough snow. The Kürten Mill Trail is a roughly 14 km long circular route that passes ten historic mill sites. However, very few of them are still standing, and their exact locations are often unknown. The only drawback of the hike: neither in Kürten-Olpe nor in Kürten was a café open.
