Some paths had disappeared underwater. Still a very nice walk.
Nice walk, easy to combine with Breda city centre.
Today we walked a nice round in the Mastbos, we had not been here before. The parking lot next to Bouvinge castle was still very quiet when we arrived. The weather was lovely for walking, and it was the first time since our holiday that we went out here. Very nice varied walk, with a delicious coffee stop at the Kogelvanger. Unfortunately the boardwalk was closed because it was partly under water. The path that we thought of as an alternative also turned out to be under water. But fortunately there are many roads that lead to Rome, and we were able to finish the walk wonderfully. We had saved Bouvigne castle for last.
Lovely day in the Mastbos. The only downside was that the boardwalk was closed. We were looking forward to it. So we walked a bit further. After the walk we didn't feel like getting stuck in traffic and we went for a bite to eat at De Boswachter. Great menu, nice service.
