MTB loop 'Eb1'

This mountain bike tour in the Eberbach bike region starts in Eberbach. You first cross the Neckar before riding on the Neckar Valley Cycle Path towards Pleutersbach. From there, things really get going: a steep climb takes you to the Bocksbergkopf. After a short descent, the next climb follows. You pedal up to Marienhöhe and finally to the highest point on the Hebert.

On the way down, you enjoy a rapid 5-kilometer descent to Rockenau. Here you cross the Neckar again and ride over the Matzenberg towards Unterdielbach. The route challenges you one last time with a short climb to the Scheuerbergkopf. This is followed by the final descent, which takes you back to Eberbach via the Breitenstein hiking car park.

In terms of scenery, the tour offers highlights such as the Heiligkreuz church and great views over the Neckar and the surrounding forests. You mostly ride along easy-to-ride forest paths. However, 875 meters of elevation gain spread over just 34 kilometers still places a certain demand on your fitness.

Extra tip if you want more: The route repeatedly leads past entry points to the trails of the Bikeländ. If you feel like it, you can extend the tour and spice it up with technical descents!
