Day 11. Croaghanmoira Mountain 664m, Ballycurragh Hill 536m and Muskeagh Hill 397m, Wicklow, Eire (Marilyns). On many of the peak bagging/outdoor websites I perused for this trip I noted there were very few route descriptions regarding ascents of the lesser known Irish Marilyns. This also applied to the availability of gpx files. I will therefore add relevant information and files that hopefully will provide assistance to future hikers/peakbaggers. Croaghanmoira Mountain 664m, just South of Glenmalure. Simple stuff, parking is at the forestry entrance on the high pass at Slieve Maan. Enough room for 4-5 cars. Head SE on a good footpath that takes you up to the forest edge. Follow the forest edge and keep on going up another good footpath to the trig pointed summit. No problems with this now. Easy enough and a good view point. Parking: Forestry entrance, 4-5 cars. Route: Good footpath/track all the way to the top. Up and down route. Nice views. Statistics: 3.5km with 211m height gain done in 50mins. Maps: Outdoor Active digital Harveys/Irish Topo.
