This route was planned by komoot.
It is a truly beautiful route across the Veluwe. It does have one caveat: the starting point, a parking lot, is no longer accessible by car. If you want to drive to the starting point via Komoot, you will probably do so via Google Maps. And that is where Maps goes wrong. It thinks that the parking lot is still accessible. In addition to the above, Maps also does not take into account that you are not allowed to drive to the Posbank at all with your car or motorcycle during the weekends. That will definitely cost you, just like me, a fine. So YES the walk is beautiful but parking is unfortunately impossible during the weekends.

Beautiful route for this month of August. From restaurant 'dehoutplaats'. Along beautiful landscape, through hilly forest area, along streams and as a gift a huge hilly purple heath landscape. 🌸.
