This route was planned by komoot.
1 of 2 Hike from the Camaret sur mer campsite, Le Lannic to the viewpoint over the harbor. From there, head west along the coastline to Point de Toulinguet with a view of the Phare de Saint Mathieu. From there, walk along the wall of the military site back to the cliffs above Plage de Pen Hat. Here you have a fantastic view to Point de Pen Hir. The path leads down to the beach and up the other side along the WW2 bunkers to the Atlantic Wall Museum. Then continue to the Monument aux Bretons de la France Libre. The western tip is then reached with Point de Pen Hir. From there, go back down the other coastline to Plage de Veryac'h. There is a recommended bar there with small dishes. Immediately after that, a narrow path leads along a small stream back towards Camaret. This path saves you having to walk along the country road. 1 of 2
The plan for how we hike today was quickly determined. We park at the bar so we can stop there later. So once again in the place. It used to be nice. Now we come to the 4000 year old rows of stones. Very impressive. Now we come soon to the actual coastal path. First we go to the Landspitzr, the Pointe du Grand Gouin. On the more than 60 meter high cliff of the Pointe du Toulinguet there is a fortress in the military area. On the further way we see old bunkers again and again. However, also a fantastic landscape and coastal region. Nice new pictures all the time. My countless pictures show how beautiful it was.
The return by road recommended by Komoot is not recommended, it is better to return as we did for part of the way.
