Today I discovered another corner of the GR® 34 (the customs officer's path). Very nice route with great views 🤩! More about the GR® 34 and the different stages👇 https://www.bretagne-reisen.de/darauf-habe-ich-lust/wandern-in-der-bretagne/gr-34-der-zoellnerpfad/
This walk gratefully uses the GR34, which follows the entire Brittany coast. The only addition is a connection between the west and east sides of the peninsula. I walked the walk counterclockwise, wanting to save the best for last, but the east coast is also very worthwhile. It's beautiful to see the difference between the two coasts: the east coast, marshy and low, fortified with dikes, the west coast, high and rocky. Yellow flowers are everywhere, which I identify with Picture This as large sand kale, fennel, and sea fennel on the rocks. This is a truly beautiful walk that is easy to do.
Completely unexpected beautiful tour, very varied, especially the first half on the west coast. Lots of stairs 😅, always changing between sun and shady sections - and always great views of the sea!!! The route roughly corresponds to the Rother hiking guide Brittany, Tour 4.
