Cap Fréhel Lighthouse

The lighthouse stands impressively on the up to 70-meter-high cliffs of the Emerald Coast and is one of Brittany's most famous landmarks. The current tower was built between 1946 and 1950 and still fulfills its important role as a navigational aid today. From the viewing platform, there is an impressive panoramic view over the vastness of the sea, the steep rocky cliffs, and the offshore islands.

Today we took a very nice walk to Fort la Latte along the coast. We really enjoyed the beautiful coast with beautiful beaches, nature and a beautiful, historic place. There are plenty of parking spaces along the coast, free (!) from which you can start your adventure.
