Hiking
From the Baite di Mezzeno locality, take the path that gains altitude on the left side of the valley. Exit the sparse wood at an altitude of about 1,800 meters and, on the left, leave the path that goes up to the Tre Pizzi.
Crossing the pastures you reach the Baita della Croce and here the path begins to climb decisively along the steep slope that leads to Passo di Mezzeno at an altitude of 2,142 metres. A break at the pass is what you need to be able to admire the panorama in front of you: an indescribable view of the Twin Lakes.
Continuing downhill, you will quickly reach the Laghi Gemelli refuge. Once you arrive at the refuge, you can feel the fatigue fade away to make room for the wild beauty of these places. The refuge is located near a dam and other artificial lakes that blend perfectly with the local vegetation, with its colorful colors.
You cannot fail to see Pizzo del Becco, the peak that dominates the surrounding landscape, famous for the steep cliffs of its southern slope and for the even wilder northern wall.
