Today the clog path goes 14 kilometers through the outskirts of Culemborg. You walk on the Goilberdingerpad. Not so easy to pronounce, but that doesn't matter: it promises to be another varied walk through the Dutch landscape.
The walk is a round that starts and ends at Fort Werk aan…

This route was planned by komoot.
2 weeks ago we walked a stage of the Betuwepad. Then I saw a part of this klompenpad here and I thought I had already walked it. But according to my komoot archive not. So today with beautiful weather out. Nice and beautiful route. 80 goes over grass paths. Only 2 minus points are the extra loop halfway. This goes around a fish pond. This would not have been necessary for me. And on the way back you have to walk a bit over the dike. This is very busy and they drive briskly without really giving space. In general a nice walk that goes through a number of beautiful nature (bird areas). And of course the fort is also a nice change in the walk.
This walk follows on from (and can possibly be combined with) the following other walks I have walked in the same area: [...]
Beautiful route, largely unpaved. Start and end point is restaurant Caatje aan de Lek, with large parking lot.
Beautiful clog path. A little soggy at times. Part through the forest was not possible due to high water. Enjoyed with lots of sun!
Komoot added photos of me to Highlights. Always fun.
April 14 we walked the Kuilenburgerpad followed by the Goilberdingerpad, at least that was the intention! But a heavy rain shower threw a spanner in the works, so we ended it prematurely. Today another attempt, checked the weather forecast and it should work without rain ..... it was not supposed to be. Apparently we just have to walk this path with a nice shower 🙄. Although nice shower, strong gusts of wind and all holes opened🌧. But we kept going and between the drops we enjoyed a beautiful clog path along ditches and through meadows, over ditches and past meadows. We walked around Fort Everdingen and over lock Everdingen, the whole path was partly paved and largely unpaved. We would not have missed it, because every now and then the sun came out!
A nice tour with many people who had the same idea to walk this tour today, but that sometimes led to nice conversations. Worth doing with beautiful walking weather. I enjoyed again.
