This route was planned by komoot.
Klompenpad Zandslagenpad. The 2 route extenders also walked. Extending route 1, through Hurwenen does not add much except kilometers. Route extender 2; I think it is recommended by Fort St. Andries. Klompenpad with relatively much pavement and a route through buildings. A peculiarity. Route goes through Rome.
This path should be 15 km but we don't make it. Even with the extensions we don't get above 12 km. The path starts in the beautiful Rossum and you walk over the dike to Hurwenen. Then you walk around Hurwenen back. Then straight through Rossum to then return to the Gouden Molen. The path runs through a beautiful area. 80% is paved. At the end there is a sign for a diversion due to mud work. These have been finished for some time now and the mud has hardened in the meantime. So you can walk over it in normal weather.
The sand snake path goes through Rossum and Hurwenen. Another dreary morning. But luckily not cold, even the buds of the apple trees are already bursting. Don't get crazier in January.
