Pure nature. Enjoyable. scenic. This breathtaking and demanding tour takes you into another world. You will discover the mountain world around Lake Weissensee on fantastic rolling alpine and forest paths. The special feature of this tour are the four checkpoints on the route: You will find the stamping points at the Alm hinterm Brunn, the Techendorfer Alm, the Hermagorer Bodenalm and the Naggler Alm.
It starts at the Weissensee Haus bus stop. Alternatively, you can find a parking space directly at Weissensee Haus and follow the "golden" sprockets that mark the tour. You cycle briefly along the south bank before turning uphill towards the Weisse Wand. Don't forget to take enough breaks to enjoy the magnificent views of the lake and the Drautal.
On your descent you should be ready to brake so as not to miss the stamp at the Alm behind the Brunn. The ascent to the Techendorfer Alm is tough and you have earned the stamp break with a snack. There is a special treat for the experts: S2 and S3 trails cross your descent. If you are an experienced mountain biker, take the opportunity to surf.
You can comfortably master the ascent through the Bodental, past the former glass-making village of Tscherniheim, to the next stamp at the Hermagorer Bodenalm. You roll briskly down to the south bank, which invites you to jump into the cool water. Now all you have to do is the last, challenging ascent to the Naggler Alm. Here you get the last stamp and then roll comfortably, with the last views from above of the lake, back to your starting point.
