Landgoed Hoevelaken is wedged between Amersfoort and Hoevelaken. The post-vinex new construction of Hoevelaken snuggles up to the estate. Because of its location between these residential areas, you would expect some walkers from the neighbourhood. They may have been there, but Landgoed Hoevelaken is mainly trampled by dog walkers from outside. The two parking lots are quite full halfway through the day, and it is a train through the elongated estate. In the northwestern tip of the estate you can still wander somewhat alone; however, most paths are shared with, for example, Tommie ("Tommie! Tommie! Tommie! Tommie! Hierrrr. Tommie! Hier!!!! Well done") and his well-groomed owner. An ideal area for lovers of their own dog.
