Hike on a geological trail. Already in the forest, multilingual boards tell about the formation of the holes in the forest floor. After the descent into the gorge over 204 steps, the path leads over wooden planks through the rock deposits of the last ice age and explains the formation of the smut and the wave formation of the deposit. At the end of the gorge there is a waterfall. In addition, the path climbs up 370 steps and leads through the forest again as a normal hiking trail. First visit the refuge to feel, then it's back to the visitor center with some fantastic views. Class round.
Today: Karhunjuomalampi Trail in the Pyjä-Luosto National Park. The trail began at a parking lot that was not easy to find. From there it went past the obligatory shelters, down a steep staircase into the deepest gorge in Finland. The Isokuru Gorge is 220m deep and is lined with rocks on both sides. At the end of the gorge there was a pretty waterfall before we climbed hundreds of meters of stairs out of the gorge. Then on the same contour line once around the Kultakero Fjell and "Zack" arrived back at the starting point. Nice trail! 👍
