First time to the Mookerheide. Please do not park at Hotel Wolfsberg (as I did), but drive 75-100 meters further, then you will have a spacious parking lot on the right and you will be right at the entrance of the forest. Almost the entire route is fairly flat, actually only at the heath you have to go up significantly, but it is certainly doable. Surface varies from wide paths to narrow forest and heath paths. On average every 2-2.5 KM a bench where you can enjoy beautiful views.
