It's advisable to do the tour around the lake without a bike 😂😂 wasn't such a good idea!

After a heatwave, swimming by the lake and sunbathing on the sand of the Villefort lake beach.

We were forced to plan this tour because there are no fast chargers and only a few AC chargers here. However, the western shore of the lake is definitely worth a visit.

It started so beautifully... We know the lake, but this time we went the other way round. A reservoir with a small village at the bottom where around 25 families lived. Today on the right side there is camping, lots of anglers and boat rentals... Today there were lots of anglers, there are probably 4 different types of trout and the like here. When you then go back on the left side, it is completely different: the path is winding, up and down, little bridges, footbridges, a fabulous forest... You could take photos all the time. In the last third there is a section with large granite blocks, not without its problems... My husband slipped on one and ended up lying 2.5m below... Of course I was already around the corner again, only heard a scream... Thank God he had his guardian angel with him and apart from a bloody knee and a few abrasions nothing happened. It could have turned out differently 🙏 This tour was probably good in principle, but easy??? Definitely not. So many new safety devices...
