This route was planned by komoot.
(Polar Recording) I monitored the weather forecast for the weekend for several days then I preferred to bring forward the usual Sunday excursion to Saturday because the forecast for January 14th was not favorable throughout the province. We'll see tomorrow … Many friends had work commitments. Even though there were only 2 of us today, @Aannunzi and I, we had fun and were rewarded with a wonderful sunny day (as per the weather forecast). Having decided at the last moment, we opted for a local excursion on the heights of Salerno: we first climbed the Arechi Castle, then we reached the Bastille and then we went to Monte San Liberatore. We followed a 13.7 km ring, of medium difficulty, very scenic. I hope the photos faithfully describe the territory, the vegetation, the views and its colours.
Route that starts from the hamlet of Alessia proceeding towards Croce and continuing towards the Bastille, with an adjoining picnic in the pine forest that leads from the Bastille to the Arechi Castle, with an improvised mini in the pine forest of the castle, ascent along the gully / Saragnano.
