What is the terrain like on this East Elba cycling route?

The route primarily features mostly well-paved asphalt roads, ideal for racebikes. What kind of scenery and natural features can I expect?

You'll experience breathtaking views of the eastern Elba coastline and the Tuscan mainland. Expect glimpses of colorful beaches like Barbarossa and Reale, and the unique Terranera beach. Trail Reviews

Great round in the low-traffic east of the island. I recommend doing the lap in the late afternoon, especially in midsummer, as large parts of the route are already in the shade and it is no longer so hot. The road surface leaves a lot to be desired on the whole island, you have to be constantly concentrated, especially with the racing bike, in order not to drive into a hole.
