The Scheibesee not only attracts the townspeople from Hoyerswerda to relax.... The varied profile is more something for sporty cyclists - alternatively inline skaters - whereby some gradients are quite demanding. Incidentally, the lake got its name from the village of the same name, which fell victim to lignite mining.
Beautiful round, not strenuous, great scenery very good bike path!
Not recommended for swimming; it still needs investment to create a decent beach worthy of the name. So, the ride is too short... The bike path is in very good condition!
