This beautiful little forest hike leads through a so-called Femelwald, in which not individual trees are felled, but whole groups of trees are always thinned out. The tour surprises with small historical relics, beautiful views, strange tree species and a devilishly interesting story.

Today Ömchen & Öpchen, Sandy and I were out and about as Komoot-🍀 with Zoya and Cassy on the fairy tracks in Femelwald 🤩 It was 🥵💦, even in the forest, but there was a little wind and it felt good 🤗 It was sooooo nice with you 💓 thank you for being there 🥰💞🙋🏻🐾
Dyhle thank you very much for the tour idea 👍 A beautiful and varied route with many rest areas 😍 We will definitely repeat it.
Today I drove to Sulzbach an der Murr to do my third fairy trail tour, the "Legendary Femelwald". Unfortunately, I was in for a total disappointment in several respects 😞 Most fairy trails are unfortunately a bit short, but there are also some over 10km, this one was listed in a private collection as a good 11km. So I drove over 70km and was horrified to discover that the actual circuit is only 6.6km long. The long journey isn't really worth it for such a mini tour, I spent more time in the car today than outside. But I was already here, so I decided to enjoy the circuit. The only problem was that the route was unfortunately completely boring and without highlights, what was defined as highlights here are a few boulders and non-existent viewpoints. Only the arboratum stood out a little, but it is not a natural highlight but rather created by humans. The paths were different, but the proportion of cute little trails was rather low. It's a real shame, I can't recommend the tour at all, especially if you're travelling further. If you're in the area for a quick visit, maybe...
Today we walked our first fairy trail premium hiking trail: 1/8 of the magical Femelwald. 🌿🧚🏽 It was a really cool trail, the fairy logo was super cute, great weather and we discovered a lot. Hiking goal: to walk all the fairy trails. 🌿
And because it is so beautiful in the Swabian Forest, we do a second round after the "Kirgel views". The premium trails are a bit short for passionate hikers. 😊 The name of the tour says it all: fabulous. You pass natural monuments and small historical monuments. I particularly like the arboretum. There is a lot to learn about trees from all over the world. It is also nice for children here. They can lounge in a huge forest hammock and look up into the treetops.
After hiking 🥾 on the fairy trails 🧚🏼♀️ Waldklingen yesterday, today we continued with the fairy trails of the legendary Femelwald 🌳🐿️🦉. Unfortunately, it started to rain 🌧️ as soon as we left the car. Fortunately 🍀 it soon stopped again. The paths were very muddy in places, however. There are also some paved sections. At the arboretum there are 20 foreign tree species from Asia and North America, as well as some native trees. Interesting facts about the tree species are explained on a circular trail using 25 information boards. There are many benches on the hiking trail with great views that invite you to take a rest. After 7 km we were back at the car 🚗
... changed to "Feenspuren" again today! 🧚🏼♀️🌳🥾 On the fifth fairy trail that was officially inaugurated today! It was a lot of fun & there is a lot to discover there. There was even musical accompaniment at the "Helenenruhe" vantage point. 🪄🎻🧚🏼♀️
A varied hike, sometimes on good forest roads and then again on paths that you wouldn't be able to get through. If we hadn't taken so many photos, the walk would have been shorter too😎
