Spurred on by the ongoing Vuelta, we climbed the Picón Blanco (20th stage 2024) today. A pretty tough climb with an average gradient of 9%, but to be honest I imagined it would be even tougher. Better this way than the other way around. Unfortunately, we rode around in the fog all day today. Wet, cold, no visibility. That's probably why we were the only cyclists for miles around and we hardly saw any cars on the climbs/descents. As soon as we were out of the mountains, the sun came out again and we were able to warm up again.
