The RSMB Rocca D’Aries route in Umbria is a ride for true adventurers with legs of steel and an indomitable spirit! It is 45.7 km of pure fun on two wheels, immersed in the greenery of woods, tough climbs and thrilling descents. Starting from the Montecastelli area, the route winds in a ring that takes you to explore the wildest areas between Città di Castello and Pietralunga, with an altitude difference ranging from 1,040 to 1,150 meters - so yes, prepare to feel your legs burn! What to expect? • Challenging climbs: test your breath and strength with stretches that will make you sweat, but with breathtaking views to keep you company. • Free descent!: once at the top, you can launch yourself at full speed down the hills, feeling the wind on your face and the adrenaline pumping. • Dirt and nature: no boring asphalt here! Only earth, rocks, roots and the pleasure of being immersed in greenery. • Postcard horizons: you will find yourself surrounded by landscapes that seem to have come out of a painting, between shady woods and golden hills. How long does it take? The average time is about 3 hours and 10 minutes, but if you decide to stop to take photos, eat a sandwich or simply catch your breath, it could be a bit longer. But hey, who's in a hurry when you're cycling in such beautiful places? Advice from an expert biker: Bring a good supply of water and some energy snacks with you, because the fatigue will be felt. And don't forget a camera or a charged phone, because you will definitely want to immortalize some dream views. If you are ready for a mix of challenge, adventure and pure fun, this route is for you. Pedal hard and enjoy the magic of Umbria!
