Gravel riding

At 43 kilometers and only 380 meters in altitude, this tour is perfect for anyone who wants to start a little excursion in the afternoon or after work in the Tölzer Land. Because the "Eurasburger Gravel Gmoa Runde" offers everything so that Gravel fans get their money's worth.

I start at the S-Bahn station in Wolfratshausen on the official cycle path and roll up the first six kilometers on asphalt. This is followed by an increase on gravel up to the Sonderhamer Weiher and from there on to Berg. The first place to stop is already waiting for me here, because the Landgasthof Berg is certainly one of the most beautiful beer gardens in the entire Oberland. The next few kilometers lead on easy gravel paths through the Schellenberger Moor.

After 22 kilometers I stop to enjoy the wonderful view of the Alps from the Faistenberg. The trip to Baierlach is on beautiful gravel paths along the Loisach-Isar Canal. Unfortunately, I am not allowed to follow this path any further due to a construction site (until November 30th, 2023) and so I use the detour to Eurasburg to enjoy a piece of cake in the Stücklhof. Freshly strengthened, I roll back the familiar route to Wolfratshausen.

You should definitely stop here for a moment and enjoy the view of the Bavarian foothills and the Karwendel Mountains from Faistenberg. In good weather, you can even see the Zugspitze. In spring, dandelions bloom, and in summer, alpine cows graze here.

Highlight • Lake

The Schaberer Weiher is a small, quiet pond with a few benches and a fishing hut. Here you can take a quiet break and enjoy the shade of the trees in summer. Pike, perch, and brown trout are the main catches.
